Rental Cars

We have partnered with the following car rental agencies to allow their vehicles to be transported on Hawaii Superferry.

For all rental vehicles:

• Bring the rental agreement with you.
• The rental contract must be valid and not expired before the return date of your reservation on Hawaii Superferry.

Additional paperwork required:

Alamo/National Rent-a-Car

Show your rental agreement, there is no additional paperwork required.

AVIS/Budget Group

There is no additional paperwork required.

Dollar/Thrifty

An additional addendum attached to your rental contract is required. The addendum allows you to take the rental off-island.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

There is no additional paperwork required.

Hertz

There is no additional paperwork required.

24 Hour Car Rental, LLC

A letter from the General Manager authorizing the transportation of the rental to another island must be attached.

A1 Rent-a-Car

A letter from the rental company authorizing the transportation of the rental to another island must be attached.

JN Car& Truck Rental

There is no additional paperwork required.

U-Haul Hawaii

The contract must have "Superferry Approved by U-Haul Hawaii" stamped on it.

Ryder Truck Rental

Permission by Ryder issued to Customer to take the rental vehicle on HSF.

Wheelers Accessible Van Rentals of Hawaii

The rental contract will include on the bottom right corner “Hawaii Superferry approved (date of approval included)”.

Penske Truck Leasing

The rental contract will include bottom middle “P.O. Superferry (date of approval included)”.  Without this the truck is not allowed to travel with HSF.
